Living in Your Temple With Christ

If your soul never grows, your mind will never know about the Christ that lives in you. When your soul grows, your mind is renewed and Christ comes through this container, your flesh. Our soul-knowledge needs an overhaul in our thinking from our old knowledge nature to our new nature, which is Christ in you. Our spirit was saved at the rebirthing, but our soul is constantly being saved, by revelation knowledge from the Holy Spirit. Our old nature is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Our exchanged new nature is Christ in us taught by the His Spirit. Christ Spirit has power over your soul-mind and body. Therefore, we have oneness and union with Him. His Spirit will be manifested through us.

When you received Salvation at an early age, what did you really know about the gift of the Holy Spirit which you received when you are saved? If like me, I did not know much at all. It is our soul-knowledge that is the problem in serving God.

God says, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me” and “Thou shalt not make unto thee any grave image.” Exo.20:3.4

Christ fulfilled the law at the Cross, so He could live in us as by the Holy Spirit in our life. His plan was not for us to shun Him and walk off and live another life. We shun Christ by not having a close relationship with Him. When He comes to live within you, He stays there, but often He is totally ignored. Your soul-knowledge can override Christ’s Spirit in you and create its own god and its own image of God in your mind, which is entirely different from the true nature of God and His Son Jesus. This false image is a graven image of the mind. Christ’s intentions were to become the heart of your life. The flesh or carnal mind is all about religion, which is not about oneness and union with Christ. Religion is working to get or to obtain something you already have in Christ Jesus. Christ in you is a be-er; He does all the work and you rest; religion is a do-er; you do all the work until you’re bunt out an empty.

2 Thess 2:3-4

4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The Christ in you is not going to be revealed as your life; until the man of sin, who sits as the lord of your life, is revealed in your temple. Christ has already cast him out, when He moved into you. The problem is many Christians have not cast this son of perdition out and are still living by the memories of that old nature that was crucified on the Cross. That innate nature you inherited from the sin in the Garden of Eden came because of Adam’s sin. The sin nature that makes you naked and ashamed is the same sin nature that caused Adam and Eve to hide from the presence of God!

2 Cor 6:16
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. KJV

Can your temple be full of idols, other gods, and graven images? Yes, it can! We are the temple of God; that is where He lives! He lives in our spirit. When we are rebirthed, we still have the same old carnal mind. The old man is dead (Rom. 6:6) and is to be reckoned as dead (Rom. 6:11), but we still have all those memories that have been placed into our mind our entire life. In (Romans 12:2) tells us that we are transformed by the renewing of our mind. We now have the mind of Christ within us (1 Cor. 2: 16) to guide us, if only we will listen to that voice. “I believe the victory in this world is living in your temple with Christ; which is union, oneness, communion and fellowship with Him as your life.” Many Christians live looking outside their temple for Christ, and religion takes the place of the Christ within. How would you like it if your child told you that they were moving to another state and studying about you in a father- relationship and never coming home and putting their arms around you and saying, “I love you father.” Well, that is what religion does to our Father. The one thing He doesn’t get from many Christians today; is their love and oneness in a relationship. You know the story, “The Prodigal Son.” Jesus is not our Father, our Farther is Yahweh and if you believed in the trinity doctrine this will surely distance you from your real Father.

2 Thess 2:4
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. KJV

You might ask yourself, “Who is sitting in your temple?” Is it Christ in you as the Lord of your life, or is it your old knowledge and nature that has been crucified with Christ sitting on the throne of your heart. I pray that you have a great hunger to know God and His Son Jesus Christ and that the Holy Spirit reveals to you the oneness we have in Christ Jesus.

John 17:22-23

22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.KJV

In Jesus name I pray. Amen
